Entrepreneur & Investor
Erika Trautman
I am a serial entrepreneur, and seasoned EOS Implementer who has spent my career leading organizations through moments of high-stakes change. I first encountered EOS as a startup CEO navigating a challenging cash position, a risky strategic pivot, and the pressures of venture-backed growth. EOS became the steady, practical framework that kept my teams aligned, focused, and ultimately positioned the company for a successful exit.

Following that acquisition, I joined Google, where I led major components of the Google Workspace suite, including Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Later I moved to Atlassian, as the SVP and GM of the Work Management portfolio (Confluence, Trello, Jira Work Management, Atlas, and Loom). I was one of the executive sponsors of Atlassian’s acquisition of Loom, overseeing one of the most intricate product and business integrations of my career. Responsible for delivering over a billion dollars in value from the acquisition, I orchestrated the integration using EOS principles. Under my leadership, this portfolio achieved 37% YoY revenue growth, outperforming the company’s overall growth that fiscal year.

Before working in software, I built and ran a successful video production company, giving me firsthand experience with the challenges and grit required in creative, service-based, and operations-heavy businesses. I understand the realities of teams who don’t sit in front of laptops all day—businesses where people work with their hands, serve customers face-to-face, manage inventory, or run family-owned operations.

I brings deep expertise not only in product strategy and organizational design but also in helping companies of all types navigate inflection points. I work with businesses preparing to raise capital or planning an exit, teams integrating newly acquired companies, women-led organizations, and husband-and-wife leadership teams looking to strengthen communication and clarity.

I'm passionate about supporting entrepreneurs of every kind—whether you’re running a restaurant group, scaling a service business, managing a family farm, or leading an innovative tech company. My mission is always the same: to help great people build healthier, more effective organizations and achieve extraordinary results while living their best lives.
